All contacts of COVID19 patient in Salt test negative for virus — health official
Nayrouz News Agency : Balqa Health Affairs Director Wael Azab on Saturday said that the test results for the contacts of a person infected with COVID-19 in Salt came back negative, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Azab said that after a citizen from Salt was found to be infected with COVID-19 at his workplace in Zarqa Governorate, epidemiological inspection teams were sent to his home and collected samples from all 14 individuals who had been in contact with him.

Though the results for all the samples came back negative, testing will be repeated to confirm the results a week after the samples were taken.

All of the patient’s contacts were placed under home quarantine for 14 days, he said, after they had legally pledged to adhere to the quarantine instructions in accordance with the Defence Order.
