The meeting, attended by heads of security agencies and relevant ministers and officials, also went over the procedures and decisions that should be implemented with the aim of maintaining the epidemiological status under control and curbing the spread of the virus.
Razzaz highlighted the importance of evaluating the epidemiological status and reviewing field plans at the national and governorate levels to deal with any possible scenarios according to the matrix and plan of reopening sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The premier also stressed the need to stiffen procedures at border crossings and the implementation of all preventive measures.
He called for establishing "clear standards” to assess the epidemiological status in governorates, cities and neighbourhoods and making necessary decisions related to isolating hotspots to prevent the imposition of a comprehensive curfew.
Following the meeting, Razzaz and attendees paid a visit to the Omari border crossing to assess situation on the ground, Petra added.
