Lebanese Foreign Ministry condemns repeated Israeli attacks on UNIFIL forces
Nayrouz News Agency :

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants strongly condemned repeated Israeli attacks on the UNIFIL centers operating in southern Lebanon ”UNIFIL”, calling on the international community to ensure the continuation of the work of these forces and their protection.

The ministry said in a statement on Monday ,"These Israeli attacks and actions target international forces and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and can amount to a war crime. They are also part of Israel’s policy of refusing to implement the resolutions of the General Assembly and the Security Council of the United Nations, especially resolution 1701”

The Ministry called on the international community to take a firm stance to support UNIFIL forces and ensure the continuation of their work and the non-threatening of their security, and to condemn Israel and oblige it to immediately cease its hostile practices in compliance with the principles on which the United Nations was founded.
